Jack and Drill focuses on six simple machines: wedges, wheels, inclined planes, screws, pulleys, levers, and how they are used in industry.

The purpose and physics of each machine are explained and there are several interactive activities demonstrating how simple machines make our lives easier.

This exhibit was put together by the curatorial assistant summer students.
