Conductor Cars

Photo

Our most comfortable caboose for public opening days. Back support and a padded seat make this a popular choice for staff. Built in Vancouver and in service from opening day it is safe and dependable. The seat lifts up to provide storage.

Numbered after CN79857, a caboose in local use in Prince George until 2004 and now privately owned and on the move to Train Mountain in Oregon.

Purchased and used with a locomotive from Alberta this caboose requires the conductor to sit without back support and with his or her feet on the foot pegs in the front. While workable, it is not the most comfortable ride.
