Have a preschooler who loves choo-choo trains? Visit the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library (887 Dominion Street) on June 28th for a storytime all about trains of all kinds! The storytime runs from 11:30 am to noon in the Keith Gordon room of the library. And don't forget to take a look at the library's train-themed children's book display, for the young and young at heart.
Then visit the Railway and Forestry Museum to enjoy our Classic Railway Museum Experience. Spend the afternoon watching a real turntable move, enjoy fresh-cooked hamburgers, explore our miniature railway open house and set off on a guided tour about Prince George history! The Classic Museum Experience runs from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on June 28th. Admission is free with a non-perishable food item.
The museum would like to thank the Prince George Public Library and CN for partnering with us to celebrate the centenary of the railway.
